Re: whining about @SimpleX Chat because some people need a little reminder:
- They were very clear, a long time ago, about the need to ensure that payments could be made and privacy not be compromised. Some type of token was mentioned. This is not a surprise. If you don't pay attention to the goings-on of the tech you use, GFY.
- Nothing is free. If you're butthurt because shit won't be free, GFY.
- You can self-host your own SimpleX server, or any other chat protocol server, or pay/beg your nerd friends to do it for you. If you don't have the means or the will to do this, GFY.
