The 2008 global financial crisis showed truly how deep corruption and greed can run in banking, and that the government is an accomplice in bailing out said practices time and time again. It is no mistake this is the year the Bitcoin white paper was released and forever changed the way people can transact and preserve their wealth โ a peer to peer electronic cash system with no middleman required, no CEO, just open source code and clear consensus rules. Just you and me, removing the monopolistic power these corrupt institutions held over humanity for decades (if not centuries).
And this comes in the form of a peaceful revolution โ while our message is clear: we wonโt be taken advantage by you any longer, we have fuck you money and donโt require your services to live, take care of our families, and transact globally. Bitcoin is for everyone โ and it removes the power from these corrupt brokers and actors that they never should have had in the first place. A win for the people!
If stablecoins bring down the big banks (I mean the banks are fighting tooth and nail just to be able to fuck over Americans with .0001 interest rates v stables that want to pay like 3.5+% yield)
And then people flock to and use better money in bitcoin from there

For those dooming about bitcoin and Bitcoiners wishing for the demise of the world, our scary โtrustlessโ system
Itโs funny to me how quiet they remain about our broken political system and incentives, broken financial system, broken money, broken healthcare, you name it!
Bitcoiners doing life changing work around the world gives me hope. And the technology we have that builds a better and parallel system to the fuckery of the fiat system gives me incredible hope.
We arenโt โcrashingโ their system โ theyโre doing it all on their own. And our world, our system, isnโt exclusive โ anyone is welcome to use it.
