The term “content creator” seems like such an insult to me. And yet, many identify with it. “Creator” is great but “content” means commodity. “Look, we got this big black box. We must dump in whatever we can.” Create more content to feed the ravenous algorithm.
Can somedan please explain to me what’s going on?
“By a continuing process of inflation, governments can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of its citizens. By this method they not only confiscate, but they confiscate *arbitrarily*; and, while the process impoverishes many, it actually enriches some.” - John Maynard Keynes Via @Lyn Alden's excellent book “Broken Money”.
My kids are a part of me that I didn’t know I had until they came into this world. That’s the best way I can describe the feeling of being a parent, at least for now.
It seems like #ecash is the ideal way to leave an offline bitcoin tip. Already I can print out the token QR and hand it to someone. Ideally, there would be a way to convert the #cashu token ID to something easily readable and writable like a short string of words. I could then mint ecash, print the words on small cards and then pass them out at restaurants, cafes, etc. The tip could even be simply written on the bottom of the bill. I have no technical understanding of how the token ID is derived, so no idea if this is possible. Just putting it out there. @calle 👁️⚡👁️
