Thanks @BitcoinMagazine for the article on Silent Payments for #bitcoin with @cakewallet. Well written by Henry Fisher:
I’m thrilled to announce that @sethforprivacy is joining the team @cakewallet and @MoneroCom! As Seth mentioned, we’ve known each other for years, and I’ve always been impressed by his clarity, deep technical expertise, and industry knowledge. I’ve often sought his advice and opinions. I’m excited to work with Seth to refine our existing products and bring you new features—like the #Bitcoin-only wallet for example, and many more privacy related features. Stay tuned… things are about to get amazing! View quoted note →

I sent two Silent Payment transactions to the same Silent Payment address as shown in the screenshots. Looking at the block explorer, @cakewallet generated 2 addresses using the the Silent Payment BIP. TxIDs: 3f239f100ea276d1e250d0a445b05947021fb9eea4d50ff6ee14e035bb551d61 And e5b4b7db8744668acef7bf1379af5283627826b76b0f03cd725a81e0b01d957d @josibake @SomsenRuben
Silent Payments are for Bitcoin. I mistyped and wrote Monero. Monero is always silent.
