I believe it was @HebrideanUltraTerfHecate who first brought to my attention the high levels of domestic abuse in the Sikh community. I mention this because prior, I was only aware that Sikhs have one of, if not the lowest, % of prison representation of any ethnic group in the UK. So possibly a lot of under reporting and under prisoning going on with regards to the suffering of Sikh women. Hopefully a high profile case like this will go so way to changing things.
