When I spoke with exchange operators, they acknowledged the need for regulations that acknowledged that they were not the same thing.

Interesting to hear every single panelist note that bitcoin was the only asset worth of treasury status. In the single instance an entity had crypto, it was in effect acknowledged as going out on the risk curve.
