A couple weeks ago, I watched a video of an old lady making "bergamot" boxes out of oranges she picked up off the ground. I had grapefruit. I didn't know what a bergamot box was, nor if a grapefruit would work for it... but ot didnt look hard to do. I ate some grapefruit, boiled the rind, scraped it clean, turned it inside out & strapped it to a bottle to dry. It worked. My "lid" doesn't fit but it's otherwise a legitimate box. Fun little history lesson & project.
