True receivership isnβt easy. Being able to genuinely recieve from a man is vulnerable. As a woman, to recieve means to open yourself up, to surrender, to be soft. Yes you can practice to recieve and it will feel less uncomfortable but as a feminine woman receiving care, providership and protection from a man feels vulnerable. It means youβre putting your own guard down. Youβre no longer the one trying to take care of everything and you learn to trust someone else to take care of it for you.
