I made a tiny tool for making flags (simple line based) for your blogโ€ฆif you wanted one. I pinched mine from front-end.social, and was asked how to make one, so I (half asleep) wrote this:
For the last few months I've had twitter, facebook, instagram, tiktok (not that I'd ever actually visited) completely blocked from my devices - both on local home wifi and mobile over cellular data. I'm missing a good chunk of the internet and I sort of think that's totally fine.
I don't really talk publically about my politics, though I suspect they can be derived from some of my views. But I was spurred on to (finally) put down in black and white (bytes) where I stand, particularly when it comes to events:
Ranty grumble from me:
Amazon will remove the ability to download the ebooks for Kindle at the end of the month. So if you ever close your amazon account, you'll no longer be able to access the books you had bought. Let's fix that: 1. 2. 3. The bit you'll need is the kindle serial (from amazon's site), then you can convert to epub
An incomplete list of web page elements that don't require JavaScript to work (so STOP FUCKING USING JS TO BREAK THEM): - images - checkboxes & radio buttons - placeholder text - scrollbar - forms - actual fucking links
If anyone fancies bagging themselves $80 off for #blackfriday on my course, and seeing videos of "slim Rem" (as opposed to "cake Rem" which exists today), then you can use the code "SUBSCRIBER" on checkout of the master course (no subscription required!)
2/2 Flight Sim: I left Dublin for Brighton. After 20 minutes of cruise, I realised it's real time and it's a 2+ hour flight. Suffice to say, I decided to nose dive into the sea. Even then I couldn't end the game!
@npub1husv...7lpp pardon my ignorammey, butโ€ฆ what's a _breakout_ button?
You've got 17 working days left to get an #ffconf ticket. It's going to be a great day and we won't run forever (if you were thinking maybe next year...)
