I can’t sleep. I think humility is virtuous BECAUSE it requires recognizing you’re better than your competition, without acting on it. If you recognize you’re better and behave from that sentiment, you’re considered cocky or arrogant. If you refuse to acknowledge it all together, you can come off as disingenuous because you are willingly blind to reality. So that balance of recognizing “I am elite in my realm” while also maintaining “I’m not better than people solely because I am better than my competition” is really, really hard. Or something idk I just got here
