Where do you draw the line between privacy/security measures that are worth it, as opposed to entirely impractical navel-gazing?
For example: I think it's really stupid when people hypothesize about backdoors in encryption when most people still haven't even moved their communications and personal files off Google/Apple.
Of course such concerns are worth considering, but not as a justification to stick with known-bad options.
