When your cucumbers get sick and start to die back, 90% of the time this is your cause. Behold the cucumber beetle. They look similar to a lady bug but are yellow and black and a bit more elongated. He does very little direct damage but transmits CMV (cucumber mosaic virus). I have been improving soil, switched to China Jade as my primary cuke and using manual controls (squish and feed the fish) and get more cukes then I could ever use every year. #permaculture #permies #grownostr
