Helping Kiwis live on Bitcoin 🇳🇿⚡️ We sat down with Rob Clarkson, co-founder and CTO of LightningPay, to talk about how their team has built the best set of tools for stacking, saving, and spending Bitcoin across New Zealand. Lightning Pay started with a simple goal: increase Bitcoin adoption across Aotearoa. What began as a way to help merchants accept BTC quickly grew into a platform where anyone can buy, sell, and spend Bitcoin directly from their bank. Rooted in New Zealand’s “number 8 wire” spirit of innovation, Rob explains how Lightning Pay is helping Kiwis protect their wealth: Bitcoin only, no distractions. Bringin’s goal is simple: help people live on Bitcoin. Buy and sell from any wallet, spend even when a merchant doesn’t accept BTC, and send or receive value anywhere in the world. Like most products, the idea was born from a problem. When Prashanth moved from India to Estonia, he was paid in BTC but waited days (sometimes weeks) to access euros while banks made the whole process a nightmare. Boom. 💥 Breez is the Word Klever, @Yopaki , @ordermoon , and Flash shared what it’s like to add bitcoin with the Breez SDK, why developers find it so simple, and why their users absolutely love the results. ⚒️ Summer’s for Building School might be out but the building never stopped at Breez. We rolled out cross-asset payment support, on-chain monitoring enhancements, and new routing configurations for the SDK.
