A Moment of Gratitude
Today, I pause to simply give thanks.
For the breath in my lungs, for the lessons in every challenge, and for the quiet moments that open the heart. Gratitude turns the ordinary into the sacred, the fleeting into the eternal.
In each inhale and exhale, I return to love β the kind that begins within and radiates out to everything.
Everything is transitory β
from the silent majesty of the highest mountains
to the fleeting vibrations of hundreds of thousands of souls in unison.
We are just passing through.
Live to breathe.
Breathe to live.
Love is a deep, real, and palpable feeling in the heart.
It can be felt, and then it can be expanded βinside and out.
Like water, it can take the shape of anything.
I try to care for everything it touches, so it doesnβt become muddy or dirty.
But I also have the ease of knowing it can be purified βthrough meditation.
I can reflect on the thought I just had, analyzing its meaning and potential consequences β or whether itβs better to do the opposite. Or, I can simply choose to be present.
