Today, the Commission unveiled its Digital Omnibus Package, reopening and weakening key elements of the EUโ€™s digital rulebook. The package introduces changes that would allow providers of high-risk AI systems to avoid core obligations, expand exemptions far beyond SMEs, and delay essential protections people most affected by AI. Europeโ€™s digital future must remain grounded in rights, oversight & democratic accountability, not deregulation disguised as simplification.
