I hate live server migrations. We nearly lost our database that store all our users login information tonight. I luckily had the skill to go back in time and look for the correct docker image. I didn’t panic and I trouble shooted. Our login system was down for 1 hour while I trouble shooted it.

So I did a little test of our podcast episode performance technology, and have to say I am bloody impressed with how good the data truly is. I really didn’t know if this would work, and wow the data is really interesting. I truely have to thank @npub1rcnr...dw4h for giving me the idea - he might not know it, but it was his talk about HLS and first party data that made me revisit this idea how can we get data without begging the players. We only show data that has over 50% completion.

Well a big weekend here at PodToo, we have a number of projects well underway, I'll most likely end development on Podcast Performance Github, as we have found a more detailed way of getting player data without upsetting the community (i hope). It doesn't mean that I don't want to see an open standard for player stats, what it means was I was kinda fed up on waiting for everyone to agree on away forward and needed to look at my business needs and to see how can we get the data.
