Important. I agree that NIP04 should be deprecated asap. Happy to contribute to a new standard for DM.
is there a command line tool that probes a nostr relay for compatibility (NIPS) and responsiveness and correctness?
what should I start work on first: A) nativ macOS nostr client B) QT based cross platform c++ client (desktop only) C) console client with ncurse (use arrow keys like rtorrent, etc.) D) focus on DM clients only (email/messenger replacement)
would be awesome if one could have a nostr backup key in case the account gets compromised (or lost priv key) that backup key could somehow signal that the β€œsame user” has moved to a new id.
Does anyone know if a nostr relay can have a path? Like wss://nostr-ts-relay.your-domain.com/path instead of just wss://nostr-ts-relay.your-domain.com? Or will clients always connect to /?
