One of the most underrated skills you can learn is the ability to ignore your mood and stick with the plan.
Be bored more often. Go for long walks. Meditate. Journal your thoughts. Read new books. Spend time alone in nature without your phone. You'll start to understand yourself a lot much better. Your brain comes up with its best ideas when it is left to wander. In those quiet moments, you’ll find clarity and inspiration you just can’t get when you’re always distracted.
We’ve normalized overconsumption ( and it’s killing your creativity) We can’t even eat without watching YouTube. We can’t go for a walk without listening to music. We can’t go to the toilet without without scrolling reels. There’s no breathing room for your mind, instead it’s a never ending stream of dopamine. How do you expect to create something great when all you ever do is consume? Give yourself a little space.💐
My unpopular opinions: 📚Society doesn't want women to be happy. It wants them to be useful. 📚Think about it: motherhood isn't treated like something sacred; it's more like a strategy. It keeps women exhausted, tied down, emotionally drained, financially dependent... and way too busy to burn the system down. 📚So when a woman says: "Yeah, I'm not going to play that role," people don't get angry because she's selfish. They get angry because she's free. 📚Some of us weren't born to play along. 📚Some of us were made to question the whole damn system. 📚What's something you were taught to believe about being a "good woman" that you've had to unlearn? I want to hear your story 👇👇👇
