The Android app is almost ready, and I saw he is helping organize a Fediverse Video Co-op, it's a match made in heaven.
Timing is everything, hope he considers Loops π€
I get that people may think that Loops is simply a TikTok clone.
But a clone wouldn't ship 26k LoC to add ActivityPub support*, publish all source code under AGPL, or support full data export and migration.
Most TikTok competitors are driven by financial motives, whereas Loops isn't.
This matters. A lot.
You can't serve two masters β either you serve your people, or you serve the money.

Gen Z doesn't want your Twitter clone lol.
They've already chosen: Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok. That's their language.
If the fediverse stays stuck building for our generation, we've already lost.
