This is what hyperbitcoinization looks like. Last week @Bitcoin Journey hosted its first ever Self Custody group workshop where 5 people went from no-coiners to sovereign in just 3 hours. They didn’t just learn the fundamental importance of holding their own keys, they also learned about: - Privacy - Network fees - Moving between On-Chain and Lightning - Why accepting and spending Bitcoin is essential for building circular economies - and much more This milestone marks a proud step toward making #Bitcoin education simple, accessible, and sustainable. All workshops will be taught using open-source hardware wallets only. Hopefully the first of many more to come. Onwards and upwards.

The #Bitcoin rabbit hole has no limit. It never stops surprising me how, even after so many years, you can still uncover new and profound realizations. The latest one: unlike fiat, Bitcoin cannot be destroyed. Fiat money can be burned, deleted, or erased from existence. Why? Because it costs nothing to create. Bitcoins, just like energy, cannot be destroyed, only transformed. Many bitcoins have become inaccessible because their private keys were lost, but their existence on the blockchain will always remain. They cannot be “deleted”. Once those bitcoins come into existence, their creation can’t be undone, they become part of the immutable ledger.
