Earlier this year I was at a farmers market and someone was selling beef tallow moisturizer. I asked if they take bitcoin. She looked at me like I was crazy and said “no we only take real money.” Real money. She has no idea how absurd that statement is. Glad I found @SoapMiner.

Times like these are where the people who have real businesses that generate real profits are pumped and the people sitting on their hands waiting for bitcoin to go up are miserable. Build something.

Story time: Took the fam to the local Steak ‘n Shake tonight for supper. Asked to pay in Bitcoin. The waitress didn’t know how. She went and asked the manager. They said I couldn’t pay in bitcoin because the iPad was out of battery… I paid in dirty fiat via Apple Pay. Miserable.

It isn’t working to ask cashiers to ask the owner to turn on bitcoin payments. The only local shop that has done it for me is because I know the owner personally. We need some solutions to make it easier. @jack @npub1ds3h...hzcn
