Join us in wishing @npub1tqg4...t84l the very best of luck as he takes on the world’s highest ultra marathon this Friday, September 12, representing Bitcoin Runners and the freedom tech movement! The Khardung La Challenge covers 72 km through the Trans-Himalayan range, with nearly 60 km run above 4,000m, where the oxygen is roughly half that at sea level. This is his biggest challenge yet, after months of intense proof-of-work. He’ll be giving away a Bitcoin tee to anyone at the event who says Hi. Let’s spread the good word of Satoshi and cheer him on! 🏃‍♂️💨 Event: https://ladakhmarathon.com/product/khardung-la-challenge/
On this day, 16 years ago Hal Finney tweeted: “Just got back from 11 mile run - really treasure each one now.” This was 17 days after he was diagnosed with ALS. He ran a half marathon on September 6, 2009 - his last real run. image
