Dec 19, 2025 @ 11:12 Good morning family & friends❣️ Well last night was a new one for the record books! I was in bed by 17:00 and up by 10:00! I slept most of that time too! Our bodies take what they need I guess 🤷‍♀️. Anyway today will be much like yesterday, since we had a ton of rain yesterday (not much snow left), then the temps dropped quickly and we had high winds overnight; when I got up to get rid of some of the tea I drink way too much of these days I hear all sorts of stuff blowing around outside! Pete said he hasn't gone out to inspect because everything is covered in ice. I see that it is still very windy out there but haven't opened the front blind yet because it is an excellent insulator. I did let Maisie outside at one point when I woke up and realized I needed to refill my water bottle. (Chuy is becoming a fragile little old man, and doesn't go out in the winter, just uses the papers we keep down in the bathroom for him), and didn't realize it was raining. I went to the kitchen, refilled it, then went to the back door and she was standing next to it, dripping wet. Poor gurl! That was after all of 3 minutes, tops. Of course I dried her off, but she wasn't shivering or anything, and her skin and undercoat were still dry. She loves the cold and will stay out in single digits as long as I let her...the rain? Not so much! Also, about the mini-devo: I will get back to my usual format when I can do the work again - just can't right now, I'm sorry. But what I am posting definitely has value, as I am enjoying and learning from the easy-to-read content that I am sharing. Just can't do the graphic collages at the moment... Dec 18, 2025 @ 16:40 Good evening family & friends❣️ Well today wasn't much of a day, once I shared my morning update I went back to bed and slept for about 4 more hours...got up, did my health update, worked on my sites/ate/recorded, now am finishing up so I can go back to bed. Ahhh, the excitement of retirement! It was supposed to get up in the 50s today, not sure if it did, but we did get some rain so what's left of our snow is pretty pathetic looking. Not sure if we will be getting more before Christmas or not? It would be nice! Anyway, I will see you in the morning, sleep well, good night❣️🥱🤕🙏🛌
