The only reason P/l statements exist wrt bitcoin #miners is due to dollar denomination. #Bitcoin has no production cost and no profit or loss, only energy inputs that get expressed via encapsulated absolutely scarce time. The pseudo-dollar-denominated capital gains from a unit's increased value is its storage of purchasing power denominated in absolute time.

It is unknown when a #bitcoin  standard will emerge, just as it is unknown when the monetary musical chairs will stop. When you accept that Bitcoin has zero correlation to any other thing, take comfort, you have found the path to freedom.
