Last week we had the pleasure to send @General Kenobi on a diplomatic mission to the @AfroBitcoinOrg to talk about pool centralisation and how to fight back. Don't worry, it didn't go like in the movies π
It was amazing to meet lots of local entrepreneurs, both inside and outside the mining space. From the mining lads at Gridless, Quantum Hash and GAMA, to the amazing @Tando.me that made our live's easier on the ground, Africa is flourishing and we are here to support it.
We were lucky enough to enjoy an offsite hosted by the Gridless team to explore one of their sites in Kenya.
During the conference, our very own @General Kenobi participated in discussion around Open Source Mining hardware with @skot9000 @econoalchemist and @Rod plus also gave a talk on Mining Pools and Mining Centralization.
Moreover, the conference was amazingly organised, the talks were diverse and insightful, the company was very enjoyable and we are happy to say that it was a resounding success all around!
We will be waiting, expectantly, for next years conference, and we are sure that the progress will be mindblowing!
