G’day, Nostr! We’re excited to announce that we are now live in Australia and New Zealand, complete with an updated onboarding workflow designed to help new users understand keys, find people to follow, and create their first post. If you’re in Australia or New Zealand and have been waiting for an easy-to-use app to introduce to your friends and family, encourage them to check out Nos! Changes in version 1.0.0: - Updated the onboarding screens with a new design. - Added a tip to the Feed to welcome first-time users and explain how the Feed works. - Added a tip to Discover to prompt first-time users to go to their Feed. - Removed integration with Universal Name Space - Remove most usage of xcstringstool-generated strings to improve performance. - Added new authors and categories to the Discover tab. - Fix Search bar disappearing on Discover tab when scrolling. - Nos now hides the notes from blocked users when viewing their profile page. - Added a tag to published contact lists to help us detect the source of lost contact lists. - Added relay.mostr.pub to the default relay list. - Fix two bugs that could result in muted users being unmuted.
It’s time for another Nos update! In today’s 0.2.2 release, we have a handful of improvements for you: - Updated the media viewer that displays images, videos, and web pages inside of notes. - Removed image and video link text from notes. Now only the images and videos will appear, without the link. - Added new translations for the app so you can use it in Korean, Chinese Simplified, Swedish, and more! Thanks to alternative, 안마리 (everyscreennetwork), Andypsl8, Dženan (Dzenan), ObjectifMoon, ra5pvt1n, and everyone else who contributed translations on Crowdin! You can join our beta on TestFlight by following the instructions on our website: Happy Friday!
We’re bringing Nos 0.2.1 to you today with just one change: we’ve disabled autocorrect in the note composer when running on macOS to avoid some autocorrect issues. If you’ve noticed some of your words disappearing while you’re writing a note on Mac, we’re sorry! It’s fixed now. As always, you can join the beta on TestFlight if you’re not already using Nos!
Happy Friday Nos users! We released Follow Push Notifications last night. Now you can be notified when someone follows you! Let us know what you think!
