❓ What if your perfect delivery was the reason your message didn’t land? ⁉️ "Nothing sticks to polish." That line jumped out at me in tonight’s Toastmasters Communicator's Club meeting (a group that helps professionals improve public speaking). One of our speakers shared this quote—something her public speaking mentor once read on the label of a bottle of polish. He had always prided himself on being the "polished" speaker… until he realized that when everything’s too polished, your message can actually get lost in the shine. 💡 What matters is impact. Resonance. Memorability. As a Bitcoin educator and parenting coach, I help families build a legacy of confidence, character, and financial wisdom. This message hit home. It was a gentle nudge—a reminder that polish is fine, but impact is better. That it should land in the heart, not just sound good to the ear. Whether I’m actively speaking or simply observing, every Toastmasters meeting offers something to reflect on. Tonight, it was this: ✨ Keep honing the craft. 🎤 Keep working on vocal variety. 🧠 Keep refining how the message lands. Because in the end, it’s not about looking and sounding good. It’s about making sure something meaningful sticks. ❓ What’s a speaking tip, quote, or lesson that changed how you communicate? I’d love to hear it. #PublicSpeaking #Toastmasters #Storytelling #LifelongLearning #LeadershipDevelopment #ParentingCoach #BitcoinEducation image
💛 Character + Bitcoin → Better World Before you orange-pill your kid, steel their spine. Because the moment you tell them about Bitcoin, you set them apart. That’s the message I had the honor of sharing this week at Bitcoin Alaska—a gathering of minds and hearts that left me deeply inspired and incredibly grateful. Many Bitcoiners feel the urgency to teach kids about Bitcoin by helping them set up a wallet and send their first sats. But I believe character is the first hardware wallet we should set up for our kids—because it’s cold storage for courage, kindness, honesty, and grit. ✨ With strong character, kids can resist social hacking, get-rich-quick schemes, and conformity pressure. ✨ With a foundation of inner strength, when our kids finally hold Bitcoin, they won’t use it to run away from the world—they’ll use it to build something better. Because fiat may be broken. And Bitcoin may be better. But it’s still just a tool. And 💡 every tool reflects the hand that holds it. 🧡 Let’s raise kids who not only understand the power of Bitcoin, but are also ready to use it with wisdom and virtue. The Bitcoin Alaska conference was truly one of a kind. Not only did Bitcoiners come together to share our passion for freedom tech—but we did it while surrounded by breathtaking wild Alaska! We saw 🌊 Glaciers and waterfalls, 🐋 Whales, seals, and bald eagles in their natural habitat, and ate 🍽️ Salmon… fresh out of the water and onto our plates! 🛶 And we had the profound privilege of learning about the culture of the Indigenous Tlingit people—even rowing together in one of their traditional canoes. What an incredible privilege to have been part of this event! Huge thanks to the amazing organizers and volunteers of the Bitcoin Alaska team—you created something truly unforgettable!
I was never one to follow politics closely. Honestly, I didn't care and didn't think I could make any difference one way or another. But working in the world of innovative technologies like Bitcoin has made it clear—policy matters. I can choose to ignore it, but it impacts me deeply. It impacts how free I am to take advantage of human ingenuity—or be severely restricted by regulations that favor one entity over another. I remember a time when my family had to stay up late to make expensive long-distance phone calls to relatives, because that was the “inexpensive” time. Our conversations were carefully timed because every minute cost money. Today, thanks to advances in technology—and policies that allowed those advances—we can make free calls around the world on apps like WhatsApp. That would have been an unthinkable luxury all those years ago. And yet, it could have easily stayed that way. Today, we stand at another crossroads—a technology that has the potential to eliminate third-party financial charges that burden so many people. But that potential could be stifled with a bill here, a bill there… and most people would suffer the consequences without ever knowing there could have been another way. That is why I care about policy now. That is why we spent this weekend in D.C. I had the privilege of attending the Bitcoin Policy Summit presented by Bitcoin Policy Institute, and I walked away both informed and inspired. What struck me most? The number of dedicated individuals working behind the scenes to ensure that the regulatory landscape surrounding this emerging technology is fair, forward-thinking, and supportive of both creativity and innovation. The summit centered around four key pillars: 1️⃣ Market Structure 2️⃣ Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Policy 3️⃣ Energy and Mining 4️⃣ Human Rights It was a powerful reminder that technology becomes infrastructure—and strong infrastructure shapes a nation’s strength in both economics and security. Grateful to have been part of the conversation. #BitcoinPolicy #Innovation #EmergingTech #Bitcoin#Energy #HumanRights image
✨ Gratitude + Celebration ✨ We wrapped up our Orange Hatter Spring 2025 session in the best possible way—with a special visit from @Lawrence Lepard , author of The Big Print! A heartfelt thank you to Larry, for generously sharing his time and wisdom with the Orange Hatter women this week. After eight weeks of reading, reflecting, and discussing his book, our group of women came together for a private Zoom session where each person had the chance to speak directly with Larry and ask their own question. We talked about everything from money literacy and Bitcoin to personal convictions—what it means to live with purpose, to stand for truth, and to bring financial understanding to the people around us. It was a powerful reminder that education isn’t just about learning for ourselves—it’s about sharing what we’ve learned with our families, our communities, and our circles of influence. This session was both a celebration of The Big Print and a beautiful close to our spring season of learning together. We’re now heading into summer break and will resume in late August. 📬 Want to join the next reading club? Visit to get on the email list for updates!
🚨 What do food, health, and money all have in common? They're all being shaped by a broken system—and women across the globe are waking up to it. 🧵👇 This week, we kicked off our first Orange Hatter Reading Session on Fiat Food by Matthew Lysiak and @Saifedean Ammous . Women signed from all of the world including the U.S., Brazil, Canada, and Dubai. Different backgrounds. Different life stories. Same rising concern: The system is not working—for our families, our bodies, or our futures. Here’s what we unpacked: 1️⃣ A small group of unelected officials, central bankers, and politicians have made decisions that affect millions—without asking for consent. They’ve inflated the money supply, propped up broken food systems, and labeled factory-made ingredients as “safe.” Families are left to pick up the pieces. 2️⃣ The government doesn’t need to raise your taxes to take your money. They just print more. More dollars in circulation = less value for each one. That’s why food, gas, and medicine feel more expensive. You’re not just paying in cash—you’re paying through loss of purchasing power. 3️⃣ Even if you don’t homeschool, you can still lead your kids through truth. You can shape what they notice. You can guide the questions they ask. And you can teach them to spot the system for what it is. No permission slip required. 4️⃣ Thinking differently is HARD. It’s lonely. It’s uncomfortable. But it’s also necessary. If we don’t ask questions, who will? If we don’t prepare our families, who will? We’re building a community where women can think out loud, connect the dots, and lead from a place of truth + strength. We’re not looking for permission. We’re not waiting for the world to fix itself. We’re choosing to see clearly—and act boldly. 🟡 If this resonates with you, join us. 🟡 Our next Orange Hatter Reading Session is Monday. 🟡 We’re just getting started. What’s Really in Your Breakfast Bowl?  Last week at our Orange Hatter meeting, we dug into Chapters 2 and 3 of Fiat Food by Matthew Lydian   and @Saifedean Ammous . Let me just say—what we learned about the history of cornflakes completely blew our minds. Did you know that the Kellogg cereal many of us grew up associating with a "healthy breakfast" was originally designed as a purposefully bland food meant to curb carnal desires? I know, it sounds crazy. Here’s the story: John Harvey Kellogg, a devout Seventh-Day Adventist, and others within the movement believed that red meat was the root cause of carnal desires, including the urge to masturbate. Their solution? A vegetarian, tasteless diet to suppress these urges. The extent of their beliefs included horrific measures, like the mutilation of children's bodies and caging their sexual organs. Over decades, the Adventists infiltrated government systems and schools under the guise of "diet and nutrition education," fundamentally shaping U.S. food policies to reflect their vision of an anti-masturbatorial vegetarian utopia. This whole thing isn’t just a bizarre piece of history—it’s a huge lesson in the power of influence and especially in the power of money. None of us knew the cereal lining grocery store shelves was born of religious zealotry aimed at controlling human desires. It’s a jaw-dropping example of how marketing and money can rewrite the narrative of a product and reshape public perception on a massive scale. Think about it: with a smart marketing campaign, an entire nation was convinced to embrace a food product with a purpose most of us would never have imagined. So, what else don’t we know about the food we eat? If you’re curious, let’s keep the conversation going. Join the Orange Hatter Reading Club by visiting . This Wednesday night at 8:30 PM EST, we’ll be diving into the next chapters. Join us as we keep asking questions and learning together. #FiatFood #OrangeHatter image
